HIV Education Outreach in Oboadaka

At TANF Ghana, we believe that knowledge is a powerful tool in the fight against HIV. Recently, we held an HIV awareness talk at three schools within the Oboadaka Electoral Area: Oboadaka Presby Primary School, Oboadaka M/A Junior High School, and Bright Start School.

Our goal was to educate students about HIV — what it is, how it is transmitted, how it can be prevented, and the importance of getting tested. Through open conversations and interactive sessions, we were able to engage with students and provide them with critical information that could protect their health and future.

What stood out during our outreach was the clear need for more education and awareness in these communities. Many of the risks and challenges we encountered could be prevented through sustained advocacy and early intervention. It reaffirmed our commitment to continue this important work, reaching more schools and communities with lifesaving knowledge.

We thank the schools and students for their warm reception, and we remain committed to promoting health, awareness, and positive change in every corner of Oboadaka and beyond.
